I was mining the other day and heard a death cry. I telepathically msg'd the ghostie and discovered that they could use some assistance. I immediately tossed my battered pickaxe to the floor of the cave and trotted home to alert Bayn, my brother. I'd have attempted the rescue myself but considering my talents lie more towards resource attainment I felt it best if someone experienced did the job.

Wydyn came rushing into the house at Occlo where I was polishing nicks off my new silver war hammer and spouted some excited message about someone dying and I HAD to rescue them. I raised an eyebrow and replied, "I HAVE to? Listen, bud, people die everyday. In fact, people die every hour. I was going to polish up this war hammer so it sparkles and go to the Britain bank to flirt with the ladies."
Wydyn scowled at me and reminded me of my oath to always help those in need. I sighed, half wishing I had never made such an idealistic statement to him and my other brothers. Still, going on a rescue would be more interesting than getting shut down and laughed at, at the bank.
I mounted my trusty steed, Darlin, and we galloped off! When I arrived in the dungeon, I located the poor, insubstantial ghostie and utilized my ever handy wand of life to add some substance to his form. After he gathered his fallen possessions, he left and I decided to get some exercise by killing anything that moved in the dungeon.
After reducing a pack of lizardmen subjugators and overseers to battered, twitching corpses, I was looting them and came across a note! It said :
"In my efforts to uncover the origins of this strange being, Corona, I have been traveling all over the land. I have nearly died many times in this endeavor but I am assembling some clues. He claimed he was a scholar that was attacked by a minion of Xandebaric but I have ascertained that a scholar of his original name has not been heard of."
That was it. Not too enlightening, huh? But, it makes me wonder about Corona. From what I have read and from tales told to me, he is a wierd sort of individual, sometimes helpful, sometimes very unhelpful.
Still, it makes me wonder. Has anyone else seen or heard of Corona lately? What about Xandebaric? I've not seen any info or heard any rumors in the last couple of weeks. I had almost come to the conclusion that they had vanished into the ether as bad guys seem to do at times.
