Does anyone know where I can see all the different houses without having to run around looking at them and then realizing I dont even know what type it is?

I started out at http://uo.stratics.com/ . A great site for all things UO.

Hmmm ... the best I can offer you from my own personal knowledge is to run over to uo.stratics.com and check the left sidebar menu. Somewhere on there there is a housing menu for the 'standard' houses (remember that OSI now has customizable houses). I used this when I was trying to decide which style house I wanted to buy, but as I recall, all the styles are NOT exactly matched name-for-name or even availability between the WoD and OSI.

So far as a display of JUST the houses available on the WoD is concerned, I don't think there's any single information source at this time.
