More Angry people

Postby Orion Michaels on Fri Aug 08, 2003 7:43 pm

I had just cleared the GY in Vesper when I ran into a bunch of Angry townies. I then heard from Kyven that he was clearing Britan of these misguided souls. I then traveled to all the towns, finding them at the docks of Skar Brea, Magicintia, Trinsic (where Kyven joined up with me and we also fought someleftover Praets,) and Cove. They are no longer in this world.

The angry townspeople who invaded Britain yesterday were in the company of brigands, mages and pirate captains. They invaded through the pass leading from the western farms toward Yew. I expect we might see more trouble coming from that direction. We found revolution sashes, but no notes. If anyone did find a note in the other areas, please post it here. Maybe we can mount an offensive preemptive strike against this Prophet, instead of just waiting for them to attack.

After logging in with my baby warrior and finding them in Nujel'M, I called for her big brother Argyll and he cleared out Nujel'M and Serp's hold. No notes found, only 1 sash :)

seems that there is a new wave of them in Serpent's Hold as of tonight. i'm going to try to take care of them, but it may be tough since i'll be working on it solo. townspeople, mercenaries, rogue knights and adept mages. there may be others, but if so i haven't seen them yet.

Townspeople

Postby Bayn on Wed Aug 13, 2003 2:41 pm

I dislike killing townspeople. Who is this Prophet and where can we find him/her? Any clues? The townspeople are not at fault and this must stop.

Even more angry people...

Postby Bayn on Wed Aug 13, 2003 11:59 pm

As many of you know, I got my newbie butt toasted twice at the Trinsic docks tonight. I was just leaving town when I thought, "Hey, I wonder if there are any malcontents at the dock area?" There sure were! I killed four angry townspeople (1 and 2 at a time which is pretty good for me at this point!) and then an angry pirate warrior came at me.Well, now, I had just taken out an angry pirate at the Jhelom docks earlier so I didn't think much of this. We traded a few blows and then I heard a failed spell casting sound with the words "In Vas Mani" reverbrating in my head (a failed GH potion??) and suddenly "You are Dead"

Whoa, how fast! I was near a healer so I got ressed and forgot to go back to him 2 or 3 times to finish getting healed.

People all over WoD are calling me asking "wassup?" as I am heading back to my poor, bloody body and some mercenary pops out of nowhere and hits me lightly for another dead count. OUCH! This time I get ressed AND healed all the way.

By this time, warriors are streaming in from all over WoD and after a fierce battle, the malcontents are slaughtered, along with a few casulties on our side.

I should have taken names but forgot to...but thanks to all who arrived to engage in mayhem and allow me to recover my meager possessions...oh yes, and thanks to whomever ressurected Eb, my horse!

We need to figure out who this Prophet is and where he is and how to stop this rebellion...bodies lying around in town reminds me of a far off land called Atlantic, which makes me shudder.

Bayn... (3 deaths in two days...whew!)
