I'm thinking of putting taming in a secondary slot... giving me a max (unbuffed) skill of 80... Is a Lesser Wyrm or Drake really worth it? Or might I just as well figure out how to get taming in a prim slot?

Hi there,
I had a tamer/mage who having 80% taming could manage a non-great dragon and summon an elemental. He scrapped by but in the end went for taming as a prime and got a great dragon, the combat
improved drastically,

Hope that is a help in your choice.......

ps, relly does depend on your chosen prey :D

I always thought you needed 98 or 99 to control a great dragon...

Named dragon isn't same as great dragon :)
Or well, named dragon and named dragon. All dragons are named, nothing even tells if they are dragons! :D
Barghest the Great, great what? Not a word about dragon :)

read up on your mythology and see what a barghest is then attach the title Great to it implying extra large and nasty version of barghest. brrrrr.
