I recently purchase a tower. I have found several places to place the tower, but I keep getting the same message.
"Not suitable for the location"
I am not placing the tower on any roads or anything like that, and I was wondering if there is problem placing towers.
Anyone with any knowledge, please advise!
Thanks,
Dargo

You can't place them (or any house) on a road, farmlands, on someone else's property, if there is a tree, rock or shrub blocking, on a beach, in restricted areas (like near Despise), etc.
I also think the Staff frowns on placing deeded homes in towns, but I could be wrong about that.
Other than that...

Moonglow has a few small houses inside the city limits.

Placing houses inside some towns is permitted as long as they do not significantly "get in the way" or something like that. In other words, they shouldn't block traffic or be an obstacle in some other way. A few towns like Britain are totally off limits for placing deeded houses I believe.

Also when placing a house, you may get that message but if you move the curser a tiny bit in a different direction it will place.
I've placed alot of houses and even on totally clear spots I'll get some kind of message, simply move a tiny bit in any direction and keep trying. Sometimes it takes a dozen tries to finally get it placed.
Good Luck
