how sad a death

Postby fitzchivary on Sat Jun 05, 2004 9:32 pm

Former President Ronald Reagan died Saturday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 93.

just like to say he was one of my heros even if some people did not like him.

rest in peace, and god bless his family!

Yes
He was one of the recent few that had some grit. I would have used another term but it is inappropriate for this website.

Nixon helped perfect how not to get caught spyign on the other party. They just looked at what he did wrong and avoid doing that lol. Reagan had balls, big brass ones. I have to admit I think playing president was his best role ever. While Carter could just as easily had the prisoners in Iran released, I am pretty sure there was some dialog between the Ayatola and the republicans to the effect that there would be a better outcome if they held out till Reagan was elected to handle the release so that he got the full credit for it lol. This is just the oppinion of a portion of the US, but all in alkl he was an excellent actor, and a pretty hard nosed president. I say in closing it was finaly, good night Bonzo.

He also had an excellent skill in communications and a most diplomatic sense of humor, just felt the need to add that. Regardless of how anyone felt about the man as a president ya gotta admit he was a great man.

its true that nixon wasnt a very good person, but there is alot of things that our presidants could learn from him. he had excellent speach skills. he was a tyrant a bit. but maybe thats why i like him. he tried to fix our government. and he was going in the right direction. but who knows. im proibbly wrong being boarderline anarchist. *blush* our current government isnt the best that it could be. and nixon tried to fix it.
