hey i was just wondering if anyone knew why my poor lil char god mobbed by like 6 bone knights among other creatures in one round of GY hunting?

did they start reproducing and no one tell me about it? or is there something going on with the repawn rate that i dun know about?

both are likely since i tend to be out of the loop on things lol

I have heard that the spawn rate has been increased. That's about all the information I can offer.

There was a quest last night (sunday) that involved the graveyards. The respawned like crazy and had high level MOBS

Also, Sevin was playing in the graveyard the other night and out of no where lightning bolts stuck him and all the undead down, and nothing was around to explain it. Any ideas?

There were probably magic casters among the undead, bone warlock or something that can cast chain lightning.

In the Britain Graveyard? Dont you think its kind of strange to put that level of magic in a area designed for new people to learn how to combat enemies? Hes not the only one I have heard that was struck down by unexplainable forces there either!

I don't know about strange but it certainly is uncommon. However, for the last couple of weeks we have been seeing spawns of high level MOBs in east Britain as well as other places so I imagine some might wander up to the graveyard as well.

WoD doesn't claim to be totally safe, anywhere, anytime.

The incident of which Azalin is speaking is very true, and 100% accurate. Sevin's deathcry was heard throughout the land, and I messaged him to ask if he needed some help. He replied that he had been struck by lightning in the gy. Now, at the time, I was on my way to the bank anyway, so I simply continued running up past it, and on to the graveyard. Sure enough, there was his lifeless body- and ONLY his lifeless body. There were no creatures around within a 150 tile radius (yes, I DID check this out thoroughly) that could have possibly cast any kind of spell at him, let alone lightning, or chain lightning. No bone magicians, no spectres. Nothing. Unless headless ones have recently begun studying the black arts, there were absolutely NO creatures anywhere in the vicinity that could have been capable of causing Sevin's death. Whatever is going on in the Brit GY is something twisted indeed...

Was it storming?
(hehe that would be cool though, random event of getting struck by lightning when it's raining)

Lightning or chain lightning doesn't just happen and I strongly doubt an admin or seer would zap a new player just for giggles. There had to be something around somewhere. It is quite possible a quest MOB was involved. A mutated headless or undead? Hard to say now. Also, not to say it didn't happen, but Sevin was the only one to report it. Perhaps he was mistaken?

how could you be mistaken about how he died...and yes i also looked around in the gy when it happened and found nothing...no a gm would never just kill someone for fun so you are right it had to be something we over looked. but It definatly was lightning because I have been hit by lighting running through the gy in the past week or so. all part of the fun if you ask me. :) however i do agree that brit gy is meant to help newbies learn...it was an unfortunate accident.
