Is it possible to add a comand so we can have them patrol like the guards do now?

maybe its just me, i have a house out on the farm lands, if i long into my house, my guy seems to see everything around and attack, they must have been there before i logged in, so why didn't he attack? if they were to walk around i bet he would just walk right by

All you need to do is say "Guard here" to them. Henchmen will guard a location. They'll stay there, unhidden, even when you're logged off, killing any monsters that wander by (basically, they become town guards, except that they won't attack criminals). To get them to follow you again, say "(warrior name) follow me" and they'll go back to normal. When in "town guard mode" henchmen will respond to the commands listed under Guard Commands. You can also single out a henchperson by saying their name in front of the command.

this is known, but the guy won't attack something in plain sight unless it locks on him so to speak so in the end there is a headless one 10 tiles away just standing there

What would really be cool is if the henchies c/would loot their kills. :-)

I know about the guard here command but they dont move at all. What i was suggesting was having them walk short distances back and forth. I just think it would be cool thats all, i know if someone told me to stand in one spot all day i would get extremely bored. :(
