Nice Britain property for sale

Postby Xander on Sun May 02, 2004 1:51 pm

I have a Britain property for sale. The coordinates are 1683,1578. The housevalue is 3, and the doors are unlocked for your inspection. I'll start the bidding at 350k. The auction will end on 05-11-04, at 4:30 est. The winner can take possession at that time, or we'll work out a time that's convenient for you. Good luck.

This is closed. No one bid, so I'll hang onto it. Thanks for looking.

Lest my math deceives me, 200k is not 350k, nor is it over 350k. Thus the statement of "no bids on this auction".

But you did receive a bid. It just wasn't what you wanted.

I have to agree with Joka and the seller, Its like Ebay's reserve price. He wanted to see what he could get for it yet no one offered to buy it for the price he was willing to let it go for.

Sorry folks, I was just nitpicking his wording. I am not worried about the fact that he doesn't want to sell it for what was offered, and I understand why. I was just making a comment on the fact that he said he did not receive any bids. Which he did. It just did not fit the bid he wanted out of the property.

Well, first: it's unfortunate I couldn't get this much attention earlier when I was attempting to sell this property.
Second: since the bid was under my opening bid, like eBay, I chose to ignore the post about paying less. Which, in reality, had this been eBay, it would have never even been seen by anyone.
If I was perhaps desperate to get rid of the shop, I may have accepted that offer, but that bid was slightly less than was paid for it, so I gave it no after-thought.
