Isnt spectors touch a buff? And if so why did it do -8 in every stat? Ok if it is a curse I am going to feel dummer then I already do

Are you targetting yourself with it?
It's a combination curse and buff. You target a bad guy and their loss becomes your gain - almost like a life force infusion stolen from another living creature. Forgive me if I answered without fully understanding the question.

It is a buff spell, but, I'm guessing you cast it on yourself, which is bad. First thing to do is get rid of the ugly 1.75 hour timer on the curse, you can do that by casting the normal curses on yourself which will refresh them for the shorter duration.
After that wears off, find yourself a nice low magic resist mob and cast ST on that, things like rabbits and chickens seem to work best.
