GMs

Postby simon on Fri Mar 19, 2004 2:57 am

I've been looking things over and seem to have found we only have 3 or 4 GMs.

Shouldn't a few more be added... or forced into it?

Is there a problem you're having that's not getting resolved by the GM's we have?

I've been here a little over a year and in that time I've only seen one GM that wasn't part of a quest.

You all just have bad luck on catching them, we have plenty of hard working gm's who would help you if they could catch you, its your fault for not playing 24/7 :P

Well, most of the time I would hope to not see a GM, as it meant I did something wrong, or something is messed up

The GM's we have do a fine job.(Even when they're being mean in a playful sort of way.)

Besides that, I don't think you have any place, or reason to suggest that we need any more, Simon.

I'm sure the staff is fully aware of their own needs, as well as how much workload they can handle.

I don't see a thing wrong with Simon inquiring into the GM count. Geez, take a pill.

Alot of people are only on in the morning to afternoon hours and its been said that there is a lack of GMs at that time frame. I wasn't trying to offend anyone mearly asking if anyone thought about adding more, perhaps one or two who could be on durning those hours.

Shame that's what he asked instead. Seems he counted them up already.

I've gotten GM assistance many times in the late, to early am hours, and think that the GM's do a wonderful job already. Any more assistance they need is really just a topic and question best left for them to decide, not the players.

I think there are enough GMs. I have never had a problem getting help.

And one thing about the GMs here that I like is that they are never seen unless they are actually needed to be seen. I've been on shards where the GMs sit and chat with players and show off spawning a big monster adn killing it. Or they wear these stupid looking neon outfits. Any shard like that is doing their GM system all wrong. WoD is doing it the right way.

Last time I asked about it they said that they had enuff at the time but if you voliteer they kinda keep track in those arias so that if they need any more then then mostly look up people who have offerd.
Like I wasted to be a seer :D
I think it would be verry interesting .

Ofcourse, yes, more seers would be a plus. Its been a really long time since i seen or heard of a seer quest. Also they tend to be later at night.
