What is your least favorite dungeon?

The second question in the series, which dungeon is your least favorite? The one you can't stand to go to because its too tough, or too easy, or too busy, or the monsters drop worthless junk, or they're just too annoying to fight, or...

I don't have a problem with Wrong other than it's way too easy.

Famine is the suk. If you dont have a silver weapon dont bother going.

My challenge with Famine is the lag, not the monsters. I would love to take my bard down there but the lag is just awful.

I think it's better to have a dungeon that's too hard than one that's too easy it is boring, like Wrong. Plus, there's plenty of places besides Famine you can go to.

By the way, I'm curious to know why Buccaneer's den is so unpopular with people. Is it too hard? Is it too much loot to carry? Are pirates just boring?
If anything I think the loot kind of sucks, but at least there's enough of it to be worth your trouble, and the maps are half bad either :)

You can add bad visibility to that list. I almost always end up having sore eyes and a headache after I clear that place.

I've always liked Buc's Den because of the challenge, but jungle fighting is just no fun. My primary family members are a mage (Covenant) and a bard (Joshua), and the line of sight issues there make it very difficult to survive sometimes. It is one of my two or three favorite spots when I really want to be tested. Between the Sisters, the adepts and the marksmen, that place does rock, like Wind.

Now, if a mage wants to go there and I can bring Pau (archer) or Toten (assassin/macer), we could have a lot of fun.

Hmmm

I've never soloed that place, I just realized. Maybe tonight...

the thing that sux about bucs den is getting there. You can only port to the one little penisula if that is still possible. It would be better if you could start off in the little town and work from there out instead of the otehr way around.

Boy, I'm surprised to see so many people hating Wrong. I've never really thought it was too bad except for the annoying noise the little green eight legged freaks make. I personally hate destard (I think) which ever one has the ophidians, and that's just cause I hate being poisoned. :?

Just so you know, quite a bit of that will be fixed with POL 0.95

I'm definitely kind of surprised at the number of people who hate Wrong. Don't get me wrong: I don't think its a particularly great dungeon either, but I don't know if its THAT bad. I might need to do a poll just about Wrong...

Yeah that's where you start if you take the boat (which costs about 500 gps). The fact that it can be accessed by boat is a plus too (if you can't gate, you don't have to run there).

Personally I think Bucs is too big to be even considered a dungeon (can anyone clear that place before it respawns?), and yeah LOS does suck but with a little practice you can figure out exactly where to stand and how to move through the jungle effectively. There's just a whole science behind it :)

I guess the main reason why I like Bucs so much is that I've gotten used it. I think I've cleared that little island more times than any other dungeon. Then again, Bucs is the only place where I've died and lost everything before (unlooted corpse decayed) so it may be that I still haven't avenged myself enough and keep going back for more :)

500 gold entrance fee to go risk your neck? Maybe the Queen should front the ship bill for the noble cause of keeping the Coven in check. I think people may start liking Buc's more now that its easier to walk through the jungle.

Destard seems to be unpopular. I think its probably just that the loot doesn't meet the risk. The other hard dungeons like Wind are pretty popular after all. Seriously Cove fort is 10 times harder with Ophids, but the orcs gave better loot. I imagine its much less frequented now.

I predicted Wrong would be least unpopular in the first post that Drocket deleted. Just too boring I guess.
