This Night
Couldnt sleep and my sight drifting
Seeing colors on the back of the stone wall
This one forest Green, that one Gunpowder gray
one blue to make the yellow cry
and one bluer then that to hid her face
Nights only the rain calling my name
its wishpering remember her smile
When morning dawned my eyes open still
pulling my leather upon me
cold and hard remember her touch
soft and warm, smiles to warm ones heart
Breakfast from bed cold and tireing
sweep the house with out thinking
I know I believe in .... looks north
even if its the kind you cant see
Wonders if she is looking south
Thinking perhaps its not to late
Pecking a rose wondering
When I cam back at night alone
My breath caught beneath the stars
Remembering the woman thru eyes of love
Looking at this womans face turning it
like a phrase one couldnt forget
I saw how she turned in the dark and smiled
The blue hat on her head
the blue dragon at her side
on a white horse under the stars
Is she a dream if yea let me sleep
if Nay let me weep tears of joy
Would she take my heart never to bid good-bye
her lips the softest touch you could not know
To utter a wish from ones heart unknowing
at that moment could she would she
