Praetorian Captains

Could someone help me out here please I got a quest from the Adventurers Guild for nine praet captain heads but i cannot find captains. I have been to the fort nw of vesper and there does not seem to be any by trinsic. Thanks for the help.

Far as I know the only place Praetorians spawn these days is that small camp North of vesper.

I have long thought that the praets should be removed as AG quests.There simply isn't enough in the Vesper camp to gather the heads you need and they no longer invade Trinsic.This makes it nearly impossible to complete your quest.

It's not impossible, but it takes a lot of patience. I can't remember the last time I saw a Captain though. If I have a lot of time to kill, I'll take a Praet quest otherwise I'll pick something else.

Thanks for the help. can i quit the quest or should i just let the time run out? I would even go through nine or ten spawns if there was one captain there to get the heads but there are none.

I don't believe you are penalized for quiting the quest. Well, I take that back. You can't take another quest for an hour.

Captains are fairly rare but they do crop up there, the spawn isnt always the same, when the spawner runs if it needs to add new mobs it randomly picks from a list of stuff that spawns in that location. If you get lucky you might find 2 or 3 captians.

Unless it's been an hour since you accepted the quest in the first place.

I've only been to the Praet camp twice, seen a few captains, but not nine! Thats a bit of a long haul just for the little bit you get for pulling it off!

The last time i was at the praet huts i didn't see any captains. I killed several spawns to get 9 sergeant heads and then few more spawns to get some knight heads, didn't notice any captains within 4-5 spawns.
