Upstarts... What's up?

Ok, the last two meetings didn't happen. So, rather than set a new time and have the same thing happen....

How about if the Council Leaders tell us what days and times are convenient for them, and we will find a day that works for all of us. My schedule is pretty open at the moment, so it is up to you folks.

If the rest of the Upstarts can attend the meeting that would be great, but, at the very minimum, we need the leaders to attend so we can make some decisions.

Thanks!

Other than during the day EST, I can make it whenever.

I forgot to mention that I have Tinkering GMed as my skill now. So, if you have sand/glass and want jewelry, just let me know! :)

I believe at the last meeting, we discussed having the meetings every other Tuesday at 930pm EST. This works well for me starting September 30th. Let me know if that works for everyone.

You all need to know.. My online time has been severly cut.. I'm finding this majorly annoying. Generally, I don't get to be online until about 8pm PST, if I'm lucky.. Normally, it's more like 9pm or later.. then I'm too tired. It's all real life stuff, unfortunately. And as it looks, it will remain this way until mid-december.

And yes.. my nerves are getting fried. Heh.. I mean, it's now.. 11 pm est. And I got time to myself finally, about an hour ago.

I can try to make the meetings.. but there would probably be a lot of, "afk.. they're bugging me again." type thing. Would anyone consider using MSN/ICQ/etc for an online meeting? That's easier for me.. I really really truly want to play.

Bronwyn helped me last week with some things online that I needed to take care of. I'm very grateful for that.

I hate to leave people in a lurch like this. And I'm trying to make time.. This was truly not expected. If you all would like to get another druid for the council member, I would completely understand.

Sorry for letting people down..

Xelio - You back yet dude? Haven't seen you in the longest time. :(

Iantha - Don't worry about letting us down. Real life stuff has to come first... and, as it happens, a few of us have had a lot of RL stuff intervening lately.

I'd be open to using MSN or ICQ (have this but rarely use it) for meetings if we can agree on a day/time that is good.

In the meantime, we may be able to do a late meeting, especially if it is on the weekend. But we don't want to add to your RL exhaustion either Iantha, so let us know if doing a late night meeting would be too much to commit to right now.

I have a whole bunch of ideas for reinvigorating the guild that I'd love to present for discussion.

How about it? Can any others do an ICQ meeting or a late meeting sometime soon?

P.S. - For those who don't know, Tre has mastered Tinkering now and Lief has almost mastered Lumberjacking. So, I can make magic jewelry, steeds, and blank scrolls for the group. We still have over 2k blank scrolls that Etienne left us... so we need our scribes back! ;)

Hello all. Unfortunately, my online time has been severely cut, also. I will try to make meetings and such, but don't know how much time I will be spending in game. I will do my best to see you all, though. Just post a time for a meeting and I will let you know if I can make it.

Thank you for your patience :)

Xelio

p.s. getting on tonight to make some scrolls! See you in game :D

I'm not part of the Upstart mages but I was thinking that maybe you could start a "guild" website with a small free forum. Someone could post the minutes of the meetings there for those that can't make the meetings. Then whomever misses the meeting can add in their two cents. Just a thought. Also with the website you could list a current roster of members and the skills they bring to the group.
