I beleive the login to download the wodli.cfg file is the same username and password you were originally issued to log in to WoD, so if you still have that information around you should be all set.

Ok I do appreciate the email with my login Drocket. However, when I installed UO and fully patched and unzipped the wod files and put the config file in and run wodclient, I get a login screen. I put in my login and password and the screen goes blank and then the program aborts. I dont get any error messages that I can see it just won't run. Anyone had this happen before? I am now running winows xp. Does something have to be done differently with xp or anything I can try differently? I really do want to get back on wod :o)

I seem to recal a post a wihle back about problems with installing onto an XP system but it seemss to be gone noe. I think it had something to do with conflicting file permission. It may have been something to do with wether you copy and pasted the wod files in or if you drag and droped them into the UO directory, Try the opposite of whichever of the two you did.

If it's Windows XP, refer to this post for a fix:

Drocket did a good explanation and fix to the problem, if that is the issue.

Somehow or other windows thought the config file was being accessed by another program all the time. I managed to get a command prompt and delete it. Then saved the config file again and it works now. Thanks for all the help people. Now gotta shop for a ups to act as a big fuse to protect my computer :o)
