Sethlenara and Symian were busily working on a project on Marble Isle tonight when a Shaboolie came out of hiding. Earlier in the day I had spotted a Shaboolie Spy while hunting southeast of Benson's abode, but lost him (as seems to be the pattern lately). I thought this time, I was not to be denied as the island is small and he had no place to go. I rushed to engage him and (to my surprise) was engaged by a group of seven or eight others including a witchdoctor and some archers. Sethlenara rushed to my aid and together we dispatched them summarily. One of the shaboolie had a note on him that read:

Shaboolies:
Gather your armies and train recruits...

Based on the probing attacks and surfacing of spies in our midsts, I believe something foul is afoot. Until this current threat to our peaceful land is unravelled, it would be best for us all to be on our toes and ready for action to defend the homeland where ever and whenever we may be asked.

For those of you who will be asked to sacrifice for the good of the homeland, I honor you while you may appreciate it. For the brave defenders of the land, rally to the call when it comes and fight with bravery and intellegence and the day will be ours. For the Shaboolies, I pity your flesh for it will surely be ripped from your bones if you dare attack our land.
