Question about selling magic items

I've looked through the manual and can't find an answer to a question I have, so I thought I'd ask here.

I've seen people selling bags of loot to Nana and every once in a while she'll say, "Ooh, a magic ..." My question is, does she then leave the magic item in the bag or does it get purchased by her?

If I'm selling a bag of loot and accidentally have a magic item in there, will it be sold, and if so, is there a way to keep magic items from being sold? I want to use the .loot bag command, but I'm afraid that if I miss a magic item, it will be gone when I .sell bag.

Thanks for any help you can give. :)[/i]

When you use 'sell bag' with a merchant, they will NOT buy magic items from you. They won't purchase any of the other item types that cause them to give an exclamation (.own'ed items, maps, special quest items, etc.) In addition, you can use .options to set some assorted other categories to not be sold when you do a 'sell bag'.

Ah ok, that's what I was wondering. Thanks! I saw the other options in the .options menu, but I still wasn't sure about magic items. That's good to know. :)

I might also add that if you would like to sell magic to an npc, it is possible. Just say "sell" and make sure you have your magic items that you want sold in your main backpack. But I don't think it is used much, since we have player merchants, the auctioneer and Benson. The npcs won't offer much gold for your magics, either.
