I regret to inform that I am live wod. My wife has been denied to play here. Wherever she is not admitted I am either.

She could reapply and use you as a referal as it would seem you already play here.

Alot of times people don't get in on their 1st try.

There are many factors that go into the selection process.

Before you make a decision to leave, You might have her reapply, clearly stating you as her referral. And with more detail to her application other than "My husband plays here, and I want to also"

I don't know what was in her application, because I don't know who you are, since you signed in as "Guest". But I have a really hard time believing that we would have voted no on someone who did a good job of using the details above.

Don't take it personally. A lot of people, probably most, get turned down several times before they are admitted.

Did her application satisfy the following?

Ok, got them now? Are there any questions or issues you have with them? Is there anything in there that you don't like or don't think you can't abide by? If so, please don't bother going any further. You're just going to be wasting your time and ours. There are lots of other shards out there, and some of them might better fit you. Try checking the Ultima Online Top 200 or Google's list of private shards to find another place to play. We wish you the best of luck.

Are you still with us at this point? Ok, good. The next step then is to fill out the application at the bottom of this page. There is no automatic reply to this form: It is instead forwarded to our application panel who vote on it. It will most likely take at least 2-3 days before you'll get a reply, possibly up to a week. Please try to be patient. And just so you know, if you get bored and fill out this form 10 times in one day, its NOT going to help your chances of admission...

Important: Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from free email address services (such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Lycos, etc) unless you have a referal. We've had too many problems with them in the past - its simply too easy for troublemakers to get an anonymous account (or 5) to cause problems. We're sorry for that restriction.

Apparently there was an error on Eira application. She has been accepted. So gladly we will be staying on wod.

the criteria for getting in appear to be somewhat murky.
i have a wee suspicion that the board is a bit easier on female applicants.

if you can get an existing player to vouch that you are a sane and somewhat civil person that would probably be enough to get in with a fairly minimal into of yourself.

remember that when a person applies it's like ringing a stranger's doorbell. you are in effect asking someone you don't know to trust you to wander about their home unwatched. what do you tell this person facing you that would justify their trusting you that much?

It took me the second time around to get accepted. I guess "Cuz I wanna play" was not a sufficient application. LOL
