I was working around my home in Brit when I received word that there was a brigand invasion. I was summoned by Fitz to the long stretch of open land just northwest of the Brit cemetery. Anna and a young man I'd never met were there already. There were dead brigands everywhere but plenty more sprang up as we moved east along the clearing. I found myself alone against a brute and a captain. Being a weak fighter it took a long time to kill the brute and the captain and I were keeping even. Finally Fitz returned as they had killed all the other pirates and brigands. He helped me dispatch the captain and on him I found this note.

" Attack and rob any and all civilians. They won't suspect that we will be here. "

Sounds like the Brigands were wrong.

We even rescued one civilian, brigands stole a bag from him...it was full of ingots, shovels and 2 magic items+some gold.
The miner said that there was going to be more ambushes like that, i guess those pirates got bored on sailing 24/7.
