It's a Boy!

Postby Darcane on Sun May 23, 2004 3:50 am

Well, we already knew it was going to be a boy but I couldn't think of another heading. Brady (tentatively) was born at 10:17am Friday May 21st by planned C-section (our first was an emergency section). He weighed in at a decent 6lbs 14oz and was 19 inches long. Everyone is doing great and hopefully mommy and baby will be home soon.

If I can figure out how to imbed a picture here I will. (Hint, Hint, Wink, Wink, to anyone who knows how. :D )

Because all the negative (and painful) things about actually having the child pale in comparison to the euphoric joy and pride that comes from creating a life.

Darcane, congratulations! Also, please don't forget to give your wife a very large (yet ever so gentle) hug from me! I, myself, know all too well what she went, and IS, going through- my first was also an emergency C-section, and the second (who by the way just turned 1 year old on May 21) was a planned C-section. All the luck happiness in the world to you on your new addition!

Congratulations Daddy!

I'm not going to have children, I'm going to have little clones of myself that are already innately evil and exactly like me.

Though, I don't think even *I'm* ready for that!

Hmmmm...coulda been. I do remember telling the doctor who delivered my son that I liked his hat. It had all these colorful smiley faces on it.
