"Naked" Hunts and Rusty Maps

Well, I'd have to say this was great fun and a roaring success. The only shadow on the event was the terrible news that came near the end of our hunt that Ciara was in the hospital.
Eight of us in all took part: myself, Covenant Atei, Edison, Eis Krieger, Angelica, Chanx Xandermaya, Juliana Kendamos, and Lylwen Green joined us fairly early on.
We gathered at the Haunt, got our minimal outfits together (no magic items, no jewelry, no armor) and headed out to the Brigand Camp to procure some armor. Properly outfitted in plain leather (some went without) and borrowed wizard robes and hats we proceeded to Buccs Den. We stayed close, kept up our mana, healed each other and nothing stood in our way.
Next we went to Wind and Wind Park. After a few tense moments when we first entered the Park, the breeze refreshed us and the Pillar of Fire enlightened us.
Then we went in search of mounts outside Covetous. Properly mounted on some of the feisty local steeds we ran through to Covetous 3 and fought our way through to the Fountain. Thus refreshed and feeling full of ourselves, we decided one or two too many Ancient dragons existed for our comfort.
We went to Despise and ran to the dragon's lair. We slew everything in our path including two Ancients and we were on a roll... until a respawn hit us deep in the lair. Things were again tense but we prevailed! It was about this time that we got the news about Ciara. All our thoughts are with her Rod.
We went to the Moonglow bank to do the lootsplit and while we were selling and such a Treasure Hunter attacked Lyl. He was quickly killed and it was found that he had a Rusty Map on him! It was quickly decoded and we were off to Despise!
Just outside the entrance to Despise the chest was found. We prepared ourselves and opened the chest and... about 10 Ophidians jumped us! It was a pretty harrowing few minutes but, again, we survived.
We returned again to the bank and divied the loot, including a Fish Tank deed that Atei won with a roll of 8 on the dice!!! Of the five people rolling, 3 of us rolled 4 or lower! hehe
But there was enough to go around and we were all well rewarded just by having taken part in a great time with great players. No one died on this "naked" hunt, which we accomplished with nothing more than leather armor (no armor to start with), plain staffs, regs, and a spellbook.
Thanks to everyone that came and a special thanks to the Seer who "crashed" our event at the end.
