hello all

im away from home and trying to install UO on a friends computer cause im going to be here for the next 2 weeks..........

problem is i've patched and all that and downloaded the wod files and login but when i start up the client it just freezes up and quits. I have no idea why but i really want to play, can anyone help me and tell me what i need to do?

whats this about 'patching too far' did i do that? i have no idea, please help?

Make sure you downloaded the wodli.cfg file, which you can get <a href="http://www.theworldofdreams.com/files/login_cfg_download.php">here</a>. For security reasons, you have to enter you wod login information to get it, which is why its not included in the rest of the WoD files.

ok i did that and tried it again and it still starts up but then when it tries to connect it says its encountered a problem and shuts it
what else could i do?

ok i just reinstalled and it worked, thanks for the info anyway
