I agree that hunting alone is by and large not a lot of fun, and prefer to hunt with others rather than to go out on my own. That said there are a couple things to keep in mind when it comes to deciding to go out as part of a group.

The first is that by and large you will get far more gold/magics if you go out by yourself. Basically you need to decide how imortant collecting "stuff" is.

The second is that all the current dungons (barring Wind which is better done with 2 people) are geared toward solo hunting, so for most groups the actual hunting part will be fairly uninteresting.

I really don't get ingame for hours at a time like I used to but if you give either of Edison or Thomas a shout, chances are good you will be welcome along.
