A few weeks ago, I unlocked my stuffed dragon to move it to another place, placed it on a bed then tried "I wish to raise this" as it didn`t seem to lie properly. The dragon rose but I wanted it higher, so I started to type again. I`m not a touch typer, so I looked up to the screen to check what I had typed and saw the dragon had vanished. I thought it must have just been been one of the automtic world sweeps.
Yesterday, I tried the same with my son's Ophidian action figure, trying to get it nicely on a table and exactly the same thing happened.
Overall result, two lost presents.

Does sound like it got wiped. I try use a decorator's tool most of the time, since they make the item appear in use and won't let it get wiped.

Would seem unlikely that I`d hit a wipe at exactly the same time twice.

There's really not all that much I can do about items decaying: its a function that's pretty much entirely handled by POL core. There are a few work-arounds, but for the most part, they're complicated and involved than would really be worth it. So, for the time being, there's not much of anything I can do...

What I'm saying is. I don't think it was a wipe. Perhaps, Drocket, you could try the steps I took and see if it happens to you.

Well, it does sound like it was wiped/decayed. But if you don't think so, then try using your circle of transparency over the area and see if you can find your objects. Sometimes they go through static items and get lost - but in your case, I don't think it's likely.

The thing that strikes me is, if it was a wipe, it was INCREDIBLY bad timing. Once, okay, but TWICE?
