Your new patrolling guards have a strange bug.
If they are surrounded by a LOT of enemies (say orc1) they will fight until all the enemies are dead and then simpply stand there. This doesn't happen every time, but given enough enemies it will happen eventually.
They still fidget, but will not react to spoken words, and they don't continue/resume their patrol.
Normally when an npc has a full event queue that it can't protest you will see it on the console. This doesn't happen in this cases.
