You should have received an email from Siobhand (or Seb or someone, depending when you came in) that gave you your password and acceptance into WoD. If you don't have it anymore...well, we should see if we can persuade the admins to make that info available in our forum profiles.
it would just be a simple php program to extract that from their database. Shucks, I could do that!
I know it's hard to believe, but I was a player at one time. (Actually, I still am, but...*shhhhhhh* ) Anyway, I'm a total packrat and your comment about the acceptance email got me hunting around. Sure enough, I still have that email saved. It's from "join@theworldofdreams.com" and is dated Sept 30, 2001.
I got my acceptance email from Dundee (I applied on the msg boards) but I can't remember the date exactly (I have switched computers twice, and email addresses about 3 times since then). I think it was sometime during the second week of september. It was probably a weekday too. I would ask Homer--the only other person still playing on WoD since then--but I seriously doubt he would remember
Well its isnt exactly a WOD birthday but im having a birthday tomorrow.
I will be having cakes and some drinks at my new house located just west of the britain farm, prolly around 9pm est if anyone would like to share my birthday with me.
We did not keep good records in the previous century, so I am uncertain of the birthdays of PH3, Smudge, Ajax and Pinkwater. Of course, by the time WOD came into existence, Homer Oldham was not only there, he had already died three times. Actually Homer joined before the World of Dreams was so named. We figured out the approximate date once, but I've forgotten again.
