In terms of skill gain for the most part that question is irrelevent here, with the exeption of a cearting kind of gain for use that has just recently been added skillgain is acquired buy buying up skills from npc vendors per this page: http://wodman.serveftp.net/wodman.php?m=200&menu=20005

If you mean things like afk macroing, it is fairly frowned upon with the exception of doing so in a private home.
