When you arrive at the Stydoran home in Magincia, you will be directed to a vendor near the entrance. For only one thin gold piece, you will have the opportunity to buy numbered bags. In those bags will be a book of clues and a sextant. (Please only take one until everyone gets one.)

Follow the clues in the book and they will lead you to a particular spot in WoD (like the entrance to Famine or the Shrine of Spirituality, as examples). Take a sextant reading when you get where you think you're supposed to be, write the coordinates in the book and return to the Stydoran home. Repeat if you want, and correct answers will be handsomely rewarded!

Please relay any questions here and we look forward to seeing everyone on New Year's Eve!

What about players who are not experienced enough to travel alone?

Players are more than welcome to team up.This way newer players have the same chance as older more experienced players.

More details: There are only 20 Clue Bags on the vendor, so don't be late to the Party! It starts promptly at 11pm EST.

The Stydoran Estate is located in Magincia at UOAM Coordinates 3752, 2111.

Please feel free to team up! Having the ability to gate will be a definite bonus as NONE of the clues is for Magincia. That is the only clue I will tell you!

Did someone ask about PRIZES?

For the top 3 finishers (you get to the party on time, get your book, go and come back with the correct answer), each person (if going solo) or each team will receive a backpack with 3 UNOPENED MiBs and 1 Obsidian Repair Kit. Jazzy and Mhoram are both GM lockpickers so they can pop the MiBs for you. Whatever is inside is yours to keep! As anyone who has fished will tell you, some VERY nice items come from MiBs.

For finishers 4-10, you (or your team) will receive an Obsidian Repair Kit.

For everyone who comes, there will be a Freebie Chest full of deco and also Party Favors.

In addition to the above, 7 more obsidian repair kits were handed out. I don't really remember who won them, but I do know that Ehran, Rime, Whisper, Rydalia, Lione, Strade Silverbow, Zigfri and Ailla all stopped by.

Special thanks to our hostess, Jazzy Stydoran. The Scavenger Hunt and the specifics of how it was going to work were her idea. She and Covenant spent a great deal of time getting this event pulled together, from coming up with the clues, finding and fishing up the MiBs, food preparation etc.
