This is just a friendly suggestion. You might want to lock your house doors. I know this is a friendly place and all, but sometimes things happen, and I don't want to see them happen to a good guy like you.

Actually thats a good suggestion for alot of people. I've ran across a few houses I've noticed the doors are open, either monsters walk by them and open them themselves while im fighting them or I have. Yes some houses are cool and I like to look at everything!

should someone yield to temptation i would like to say that the expected life span of a thief is barely 24 hours. it's just not worth it given how easily stuff is to come by here.
as for the general level of honesty here in WoD it's sometimes scary. when i had played two weeks or so here i was sorting some stuff in the bank when a player i didn't know asked me if i was going to be around for a few minutes. i said sure and he asked that i hold a bag for him while he switched characters. this was before shared bank accounts :) . so he gives me a bag with a million some gold in it and logs off. now he didn't know me from adam at that point as i had been quite hermit like and without hesitation he handed off a LOT of gold to a complete stranger. I love this place.

Yes, I would agree that you should lock your doors, or make sure all you chests are always locked.
I had a marble house and kept my ore box on my patio, and logged in one day to find that somebody had stolen all of my ore and magic shovels. Apparently I had forgetten to lock the chest last time I had used it. At that point I had been playing WOD for almost a year and felt fairly safe about not being robbed. Now it was a younger player and all was resolved, but I would advise people to just lock your doors to avoid having such an occurance happening; even though it is very rare and generally resolved very quickly by the GMs.
