How many programs are you running while you play uo?

Not just on the toolbar but in the background.

Your using xp do Ctrl+Alt+Delete and in the bottom left corner you should see Process and a number. The number is how many programs are running.

for determining if you want some of the more obscure programs are something you actually want running, alas it is more useful for win 2k and up as the 9x line didn't tend to give much in the way of useful information on it's task list.

if you ever feel up to fighting one of the good mages please advertise the fight so we can attend. but before the fight make sure you look up what wine goes well with crow hehe.

Now that thats done, umm 31 processes with windows xp professional updated to its current possible update state. and when I run ultima, I shut down everything on that list that can be shutdown without causing problems to the system. Still have the problem.

I'm Az's personal computer technician.

I can assure you by the blood of my CompTIA A+ Certification that it is a node on his cable pool. "^_^" He's in a bad area, with really high density use.

More or less... when you run a dyndns or ping there is really bad latency on several of the nodes. Some are as bad as 8 to 15 seconds at times... :0P

I run at about 31 to 32 millisecond latency. Yay! "^_^"

I'm about 25 to 30 mins. away from him, also on Adelphia, and I get speeds faster than a T2 line. "^_^" Yay for me! But bad for him.

I get my internet from Punxsutawney. (you know... where the stupid gopher thing is...) And he gets his from a different location.

As for the contest... if there is one, I wanna attend!!! ^_~ I like to see some friendly fighting now and then. Someone will have to show me where these "pits" are though. I've never been there.

sorry to hear bout your computer problems.

it's just funny trying to imagine any tank standing up to Eldric or Roderic or Arcanum for instance. bit like hurling your little 6 legged body at the bug zapper.
