I was off hunting Branubibibibibians when I received a call for help from Mogens Stauis. It seems he was off hunting trolls in the vicinity of Minoc, when he ran across some big bad ugly things called Ogre Mages. They make Titans look like childs play. Anyhow, i packed up bag of scrolls, made sure i had all my reagents in order, and off i went to meet up with Mogens.

We had many a hard-fought battle around the Minoc Plains, fending off marauding attacks by your typical trolls, as well as a mountain variety i've never seen. Also, many many new types of Ogres(Marksmen, Archers, Warriors) which brought a new level of excitement to the show.

After an exhausting couple of hours fighting our way through these beasts, we were hit by the only monster unable to be fought. Whilst this beast was attacking me, i could not get the heals off necessary to save Mogens, and he fell. shortly after that battle, the ugly bewast reared its head more strongly, and we made our way back to the bank, to divvy up our earnings and discuss our fight.

Be careful if this is now an ordinary spawn, as they were some very tough critters.

I was on earlier and was in the bank when I saw the town crier saying that there were Trolls, Mountain Trolls and Ogres in the Minoc Mountain area. I didnt get a chance to go there because I needed to log due to prior plans.

this is odd for sure, cause the past couple days I've been headin out to the minoc trolls in hopes of gathering hides... an the whole area had been clear.. of everything. Maybe they're tired of gettin their butts handed to them an went on a training session.. heh.. sounds liek fun though to have somethign up there tuff to fight.
