I suppose this is as good as any other forum to post under, so here we go. As I randomly checked people's AOL Instant Messenger away messages (yeah, I'm weird like that) I came across a very disturbing and sad one; our beloved Ciara is in the hospital. I contacted her brother and apparently she collapsed at her PC and stopped breathing and is in pretty bad shape right now. I sincerely hope for the best for her and I hope everyone else does too...

My thoughts and meditations are with Ciara, her family and Rod this evening. Thanks for letting us know that this happened ShadowStone.

Yeah, I just saw the message too My thoughts too are with her, her family and her loved ones.

Rod, we are all thinking of her, hoping and praying for her recovery and wellbeing. I hope you are holding up ok too.

i guess the endless hours on WoD finally got the best of her. ok, i know, it was a piss-poor attempt at humor at what is probably an inappropriate time.

seriously though, i hope she is alright and will say an extra prayer for her tonight!

Ciara, her family, friends and I would all like to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

Overall her status is still critical although I am thrilled to tell you she has awoken a few times.

Typical Ciara she spent those times informing anyone close by just what she thought of being in the hospital and being fussed over :~)

Again thank you all for your well wishes.
I'll continue to post here with any status changes as I am able.

Rod, you tell her Azzo said to get her butt in shape. She is too feisty to not to be ok lol. Tell her I said hello and I am thinking about her and will be praying for her as well. And I know you must be torn up also, but you know you have a wildcat there and she aint gonna quit fightin. Hang in there, and trust that she will be ok. I can pretty much assure you that she will be back in shape in no time at all, just tell her Azzo wants the haunt. (you might want to stand back though)

I recently responded to an email Ciara sent me. As I was wondering why I hadn't received a response I figured I'd check the WoD boards to see what was going on in these parts, and I come across this thread. Not exactly the tidings I was hoping to find.

C and Rod, you are in our prayers. I know how stuffy and uncomfortable those hospitals are. (I was just there for heart rythme troubles) Get well quick.

Oh, and I saw the Troll Warlords and Chieftains of Shame 4 doing a dance when they heard the news. You best get back quick so we can teach them a lesson in respect!
