But alass, there is many that feel these towns people are there for our use as we see fit and for our own amusment.

But on the same note, these so-called Angry Townspeople need to realize who keeps our towns safe. We do!! Maybe if the mobs werent killed off everytime they would realize we do work hard to keep our world safe. And now they are bringing Brigands and Pirates into this? sheesh.....

Earlier Angelica and Edison cruised by a few towns, namely Vesper, Trinsic, Skara Brae, and Magnicia and in every one there were some of these angry townspeople gathered at the docks. I know not if they are awaiting help from thier "friends" or just like to gather at waterfronts.

It's true that some treat the random citizens poorly and this sort of thing should be stopped when possible. Still to take up arms against the Queen is an instant capital crime. I shall whenever possible pass sentence on any offenders i can catch.

I think we should cut down on their shipments of coffee and grandpa's brew. They seem a bit edgy lately.

Might help!!

Maybe if we wear calming colors..

you know.... blues, pinks.... no red

oh oh..

and double the shipments of CHOCOLATE

chocolate is our friend- it fixes EVERYTHING!!!

The Upstarts encounted some of these ruffians on the road from the SW Brig Camp to the NW Brig Camp. Dirty, filthy creatures that swiftly fell before the might of 4 "newbie" mages.

I was going into the forest southwest of Britain to look for a new steed (Lara disappeared, I know not where) when brigands and mercenaries sprang from hiding to accost me. As I retreated into town, Marcus and his companion Reba came to my aid. They helped me dispatch the foes, and then offered to assist in sniffing out others who may be hiding about the outskirts of town.

As a mob of brigands revealed themselves, I recalled to the bank and enlisted the aid of Aran Dragonblood and Roc Silivan. Together, the five of us scoured the roadside for more villains. Not only did we find brigands and mercenaries, but adept mages and rogue knights.

Roc tracked the brigands to the Moongate, which we secured. Searching the other Moongates we found no more brigands. Will this uprising never end?

((Actually, I'm enjoying it a lot :D ))

If I wear one of the sashes am I supporting the... umm... Britannian People's Front? People's Front of Britannia? Britannian Popular People's Front?

The town crier reminded me, so blame him/her (if Azzo hasn't killed them ;)).

Their goods have garnered pittance prices. Their services have been suborned by dozens of young magi training their trade skills daily. Their lives are threatened by hot-tempered, thiefish, and sometimes murderous adventurers. They can neither earn a living nor travel in safety from town to town. Who can blame them for their anger?

Still, supporting rebellion against the Queen and her offices and subjects is a serious offence. I will neither raise a hand against them nor raise their banner in support. I would advise others to avoid wearing their sashes or calling out their slogans. When the Queen's justice does come, it will be swift and very likely violent.

Keep well, my brothers and my sisters

The wicked will reap what they have sown, and sowing rebellion will reap only death. Death to the insurrectionists and to their vile conspirators! May there be no quietus for their sin.

I am a Virtue Guard and I will uphold all of the Queens rules. These vermins will go down with each of my maces thumps. They will rue the day that they cross the Queen and Britannia.....and The Noble Lord Herakles, Virtue Guard.

It is beneath the dignity of the righteous to speak of such things. Like a weed in the garden they are to be plucked without ceremony and placed onto the compost heap. May the breath of the wraith and the wail of the liche be their companions in the bone yard. May the dust of their bones offer some repayment to the realm for their evil.

Unless i'm mistaken, in the two notes that was found so far, neither said they was rebelling against the queen, but rather the losses they suffer from some players stealing from them and others killing them in cold blood murder.

So until a note comes along that mentions the rebellion is against the queen, I must assume that it is against us the players and for the mistreatment that we shown to them.
