Hello, and first off, let me say I am very proud of the turnout around the Yew area to battle the current shadowpack menace there. I would, however, like to offer a word of caution to anyone who plans on heading out that way again... It has been my observation, over the past few days, that the packs are getting larger and more organized. Two or more packs linger in very close proximity to one another lately, and seem to be growing in number by the individual pack. Where there used to be only 6 regular shadows and a leader, there are now 9 or more. This, coupled with the fact that packs are intermingling makes for very dangerous hunting sessions. I have also noticed that at least the regular shadowpacks will not hold you as their target for as long anymore. If you step out of their line of sight, for instance behind a closed door for more than 30 seconds or so, they toddle off BACK to their pack, assumedly to gather reinforcements. Their leaders appear to be a bit more gruff of late as well, and dropping 3 shadowpack hides instead of their original 2. So, all you would-be wolf-killers, take heed- this threat seems far from over, and appears to be gathering strength.
On a side note on a technical matter, Drocket, I don't know if they really were altered, or if it's just my perception of them in the last 2 days, but if they were- Bravo! They were scary enough to begin with, but it seems the little buggers are just THAT much smarter now... keepin us on our toes! And once again, thank you ever so much for this exciting adventure!
