Henchmen changes

I forget, what determines the number of lives a henchmen gets? Leadership? Or is there a set number for all types of henchmen?

Leadership skill divided by 10, rounded down
(11 deaths max for 110% skill)

Is that grandfathered? My henchman Roi has died 13 times. I've had him for a very long time.

Changes are not retroactive, it seems. :)
