I was on my way to dig up a treasure when these highwaymen pop out of hiding near the mountains in Minoc. I discovered a note and it said:

Citizens of Britannia,
Pay Your Tolls......
Either pay your tolls,
Or pay your death
taxes.... your choice!!

Last evening, the Highwaymen were spotted all over the Brit area. I was messaged about multiple sightings. Today, I found some near Vesper and again at the entrance to Covetous. The last time the Highwaymen showed up, they preceded the Dailga. Might we not be through with that roguish group?

Today Tsalagi and i killed a bunch of Highwayman near the cemetary in Moonglow and another group on the road in and out of Britains swamp area. Those little buggers seem to be everywhere.


*We found another set just outside the west gate of Trinsic as well.

We found some on the Yew Crossroads and then further down the road from Yew.

i killed over 200 and died a few times on the road to yew thre where so many there i was 2300 in weight and had to leave still hordes left there

Those Assassins are NASTY.....
At least no mages hehe

Indeed they are fast the assassins...
This morning i killed off atleast 100 of those highwaymans.
But no note yet

They can't rule our roads, they must be stopped

Just came across a band of highway
men in front of the Yew Graveyard.
And those assassins are very nasty
indeed.Be carefull

Ok i took pretty careful notes. I went looking for a crew of these guys and found 2 First one was at the yew brigand road, where i stubled upon about 12-15 of them. Next i walked farther up the road until i came to a bridge where i met more. I gated in Amanil Tel'Imoen for help and we cleared about 30-35 of them here. Anthony Wood joined us in there too.


The types we met were these:

Corporals, Brutes, Archers, Normal highwaymen, and assassins.
Assassins were toughest, the rest were weak

I was going about my business in moonglow. I stopped by the bank to pick up a few things and then started off towards my house. Just as I headed out the north entrance, out pops 30 or so highwaymen. Needless to say, I almost had a heart attack, lol. So I messaged for Randell and Rime to join me as it seemed Moonglow was under attack. We were also joined by Aurora Stargazer, Ti'Nara Stydoran, Fireyarou, and Ulelinn Kendamos. We cleared out around all 4 entrances into the town itself and were walking around tracking to be sure they were all dead. When Randell hollered at me from the other room that they were at the teleport pads too. So I took off to help him and we cleared out several more groups of them from the tele's. After stopping at the bank to sell our loot and look for notes, we headed our own directions again. I thought it was a good idea to check the other towns. So I headed out to Minoc. There I started out heading North towards the trolls, and after clearing out the trolls, back down south to the bridge. There I met up with Maggs Magiere, Thalen Magnus, and Grimlar. They were already fighting a good sized group, so I joined in the fighting and together we cleared out the bridge and surrounding area. After which, I asked Randell where he was, and he said he was on the road headed into Yew, just east of the crossroads. So I started up that way. Just as I got to the crossroads, the highwaysmen there managed to kill Randell, and started in on me. Silly me, I removed my weapon and shield to ress Randell, and in the process got myself killed as well. Well, I messaged Leia Ranar to see if she could come help out, and she started out towards yew. Not 1 minute later we heard Leia's death cry. Needless to say, I was a bit frustrated with myself for dieing. By this point, Grimlar sends me a message to see if we need help. Of course, I said, but be very very careful. By the time I ran up to Yew, got ressed, and ran back to my bod, Grimlar had killed off most of the Mobs and retrieved our things. I'd like to say a special Thank you to Grim for saving our butts. and Thanks to the seers who made this quest. I love the change of pace it has given us.

I just wanted to give warning to you all about the highwaymen archers. The buggers have heavy xbows, and they can do quite a bit of damage if you do not have a good armor rating.

That is all.

(oh, and Maggs and I shall set out this evening to avenge all the deaths that these highwaymen have caused )

Special forces huh. Maybe they will be joined by types of other warriors/mages like the Red/White/Pale/Black warriors, mages, assassins, and archers?
