I was smithing when Kappa Illusion told me of trolls in the woods around Covetous. I had never seen trolls in that area, so I went along. He had already taken care of most of the ones that were in that area, but we found a dozen or so in the woods.
Then he headed up to Minoc (I stopped to kill some vamps in Vesper) and found trolls in town. He had cleared the town by the time I caught up, but then there were all the trolls between the town and the mines. We hunted trolls for almost three hours, killing about 250 or so, plain trolls up to lords and chieftains. We ran across quite a few ice trolls (too many to be guard quest leftovers).
None of the trolls carried any notes, but could this be related to the Snowmaster?

I've been told that happens often along as the praets invasion of trinsic. They invaded trinsic 2 days ago.

The troll invasion happens but I've never seen ice trolls up there before.
