Edison and I were out hunting when Edison got a message from Cathaven saying there were Shaboolies and Branubians on Occlo. We joined her and shortly afterwards met up with Thomas Dukalain, who had messaged saying there were more South of Occlo. Several more people joined us one by one. We fought for a couple of hours - the island was infested with 'boolies and Branubians and their Branubian Beastmasters. In the end, we discovered two notes:

"A note from one Shaboolie to another:
I ask you were the Branubians are from and you answer..The question is not from where, it should be from when."

and the second note:

"Shaboolies and Branubians:
Be certain not to be seen by anyone. The forests on the island of Occlo serve as the perfect hideout until the Commander is teleported here. Be extra careful not to be seen. Or kill whoever sees you..."

Are the Branubians from the future or the past? Interesting question...

Also, a note on the short lived shabooli infestation in Occlo. There were no casualties on our side. I myself, am considerably pleased with that outcome, as branubian and shabooli forces have managed to kill a few of ours on every account that I have witnesses.

As far as the branubians coming from another time... I've wondered as to their involvement with these shaboolies, myself. I've never considered time travelers. Interesting.

They can't be from the future. If they are from the future because they would've had to come from the future to be in present (and eventually the future), but if they need to be transported from the future to actually be a part of the future... I did an essay on the paradoxes of time travel last year
