They were part of a Valentines Day Quest that was going on last night. I guess in our rush to finish the quest we forgot to go back and finish off the rest of the Shabooli
A large group of people were invited to a Valentines Party at the Yew Abbey last night. Brother Abbott, the host of the party, greated us and showed us the Candle of Love. During the middle of his speach on the importance of love a Shabooli, who was pretending to be a Brother at the Yew Abbey, stole the Candle of Love from the Yew Abbey and we made chase after him. While chasing him we ran into a large group of Shabooli. Brother Abbott informed us that the Shabooli have wanted the Candle for a long time to use in their plans. We slowly began our quest cutting through very large amounts of Shabooli. About half way there we just decided to gate directly to the shabooli camp. We did this because severall people had died during massive shabooli spawns along the way and our hunting party had diminished greatly in size. Once we managed to defeat the Shabooli's at the camp and kill the Imposter, we found the body of the true Brother who had been sacraficed on the Shabooli altar.
Once we retrieved the Candle from the Shabooli and returned to the Abbey, Brother Abbott stated that the shabooli were a growing threat to the Abbey and that they needed more protection. So a group of us were sent to have an audience with the Queen and request guards to be posted outside the Yew Abbey.
With Covenant Atei as our spokes person we convinced the Queen to post guards to the Abbey.
Once we returned to the Abbey we were greeted by a gracious Brother Abbott who treated us with cakes, cheese, wine, and Valantines Candies
Brother Abbott allowed the newly appointed guards to take up residence in the former winery infront of the Yew Abbey.
Thank you Seers for the Quest it was great fun,
Dracovich
