Where can I get obsidian? I know you can tinker glass into it but that takes 25 glass for 1 obsidian.
Any suggestions?

sand elementals have a few as loot
they live in the desert and also come up when you mine sand

Maybe but I'm not sure, I don't think so because I smelted about 10,000 glass but only got like 300-400 with over 100 tinkering

Making obsidian needs 90 tinkering. To get 0% failure you need 110 tinkering.
