How, exactly, is wiping the shard and starting over completely 'bringing your WOD back'?

For at least some of us WoD was more about community than it was stuff.

Aye its not about the stuff I had its about the history, and the people I got to know over the years, and the staff that ran the shard so well.I would be glad to see all the things I had,all the gold I had wiped away to see WOD come back. But I will move on and rember the good times I had. And yes my WOD,I felt like I was part of the place and gave alittle to the shard.

So start an irc channel called The WoD Brit Bank and your community can log on there and pretend you are hanging out at the Brit Bank chatting.

Longshadow, if your basic understanding of the social interactions in these games is as poor as your statements suggest, you could just sum up your whole position as:
"I haven't a clue."
It is a shame that you have not experienced the kind of online fellowship that you are mocking. I pity you for that, and I hope your future experiences are more rich and rewarding.

I tried to apologize to you in another post. You chose to ignore that.
I've held my tongue when you've posted your preposterous political beliefs more recently.
Now you come out with a personal attack against me, out of the blue.
What's up with that?
Actually, I really don't care. You necrophelic freaks can do whatever you want to the corpse of the WoD.

Longshadow, I did not reply to your apology because I did not feel any apology was called for (plus I could not remember what you might be apologizing for).
My statements here were not "out of the blue", but were a direct response to the one specific post you made suggesting that the WOD community could and should be replaced by a chat room.

By the way, Dirk, I completely forgot you were Longshadow. I was not responding to you as a person, but to what I consider an insult to a community I care/cared about, a community that included yourself.
As to my preposterous political beliefs, I expose them for the scrutiny and criticism of all.

Mala:
Come to try Ackadia RAW. Quite a few WoDdians started there after WoD closed. Whole shard has been wiped about 3 weeks ago and whole map, dungeons and everything have been remade.
I haven´t seen such a joy for a looong time.
Edison: "I killed a brigand"
C: "I hate jobbing"
Daalia: "I can´t come there, those marksmen are too tough for me"
I think we have like 20 WoDdians there + all old Ackadia players and Ack of course have been really nice and helpful.
Nice to be a total nuubie =)

Ya ya, I know this is the wrong board for it but I really do gotta say, Marksmen do suck (almost as much as shadow archers) 2+ arrow hits and I'm either fleeing in terror or chain healing.
