I checked their boards and it sounds like they just started a few days ago. The one admin probably saw our name on the top200 website and decided advertise here as well. When you have no reputation to hurt, you've got nothing to lose.
Some of this shard's most interesting features include
Don't know about you but this sounds like a dream shard. All they need now is the fabulous autocamp 2000 (adapted UO version) and this would officially be the bestest, quickass, PVP server ever!
Some of this shard's most interesting features include
- the entire world is comprised of a few different locations. Our map is small so there is more player interaction and therefore more PVP.
- all players start with 100 in each skill and 125 in each stat so that all players have an even chance to defeat each other, the PVP is based on real skill rather than who has higher skills.
- monster bosses drop items such as house deeds, good amounts of gold, special weapons, special dye tubs, special armor, etc.
- all players start with full spellbooks, reagents are not required.
- there are frequent tournaments for unique items upon the winner's request.
- house looting is legal and if good enough, players can make a career out of it.

I thought I saw this post yesterday and the addy was edited.
Anyway, it seems to me that it is a sphereserver powered shard and that would be the 1st reason why I wouldn't play there. Once you've played on a well run/scripted POL or RunUO powered shard you would never want to go back to that crappy sphereserver again.
Oh and it's rude to post your shard on other shard boards.
