I was doing an AG quest today for Ophidian Magi, when I realized doing it by myself was a rather difficult and drawn out task. I decided to quit the quest after exploring outside Cove and Destard.

When I went to go a quit, I said to the guild master "quit quest" and it let me. After that, I tried to get another one by saying "quest." To this she said something to the extent of "What, you want to quit another quest ALREADY? Come back later." That doesn't make much sense, because I only wanted to quit one, and pick up another, less time consuming one. Is this a bug, or a new idea for the AG guild?

It's been there for a while. If you quit a quest within an hour (or other short time measurement) of accepting one, you can't choose another for about an hour.

The time delay after quitting a quest is kind of a necessary evil. Otherwise you could take quests that you don't intend to complete simply to clear them off the list so that they would (hopefully) be replaced with better ones.

It makes sense to do it that way. I can see the potential problems it would lead to otherwise, ie making it super easy to get AG points.

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Perhaps she should say "You can't take a quest for awhile," as opposed to "You want to quit another one?" (Which is what actually confused me).

Today I accidentally quit the AG guild when I didn't mean to. Is there a way to get back in w/out losing my tickets? I paged a GM also, but thought someone here might know the answer.

I don't know how to undo that little faux pas without a GM's involvement.

Do you have more than one player on your account in the AG? If you do, the tickets won't go anywhere. Tickets are shared by the account.

Unfortunately that was the only char in the AG.
