have you tried google?

choctaw as the search phrase leads to 431000 hits with the first being the official homepage of the choctaw nation.

hm, I remember from my 4th grade alabama history class that they live in Chickasaw county (odd because that's another tribe's name) and they would strap boards to their children's heads so the skull would form differently giving em a higher forhead (think the Coneheads but not so extreme)

I did try google but i do not have the time to check all those sites. I only get on the computer for about half an hour and then i only get on every 3-4 days and that deffinitally is not enough time. Besides all the information is the same over and over again!

And did the choctaw really put boards on their heads to make their forhead higher? thats an interesting fact if it is true.

Love,
Nichi

almost positive on that one.. I remember one of the 4 tribes we had to learn about did it, and I know it wasnt the creek or cherokee lol.. so that leaves chickasaw and choctaw and I'm pretty sure it was the choctaw
*has a talent for remembering useless information*

I have until 9/29 of next week and i need to know their beliefs, culture, how they felt about the trail of tears, how they are coping with the world today, And practically everything else about them...All i have found so far are pictures of pottery and how to make a ceremonial dress....which was actually quite facinating but not what i am looking for.

I have numerous notes on their culture and some on their beliefs but none on how they felt about the trail of tears and how they are coping with the world today. It is very agrivating when you can't even fine things about how they are coping...i know where they are now butnot how they are coping... *aggrivated sigh*

OKie well I think i broke my record for how much I have written. *laughs* Not like it was much but hey I beat it!

Well i have to go.

Love,
Nichi Ko

P.S. Is it true that WOD is down? is it down temporarily or for...*gulp* GOOD?!?!?!?!
