Where are them links for the test clients at?

Any word on when the 4.x.x.x client will be the one we all use?

At the moment, I don't know when we'll upgrade to newer clients. Unfortunately, it seems like a number of people have some sort of strange lag issue with the 4.0 clients that I haven't been able to track down. I would, at least, like to switch everyone over to the non-encrypted clients, even if it only means upgrading the minimum/default client to something around 2.0.8. That way, everyone would have the freedom to choose which client they would want to use (at least for a while) since personally, I find the 4.0.0c client to run best for me.

Does this mean that the newer clients, patched to non-encryption, will work on WoD? Just checking, as I wouldn't want to just try it without asking, in case it caused problems on the server :)

The 4.x test client can still be found here:

Thank you very much.

I had little problems running a uorice stripped client to connect.

I do however have a major issue if I update AoS, it indeed breaks my trading gump.

I use AOS and the client version 4.whatever from that link up there. My trading gump has some problems too, but I wouldn't call it broken.

I can trade one item at a time, and if another person trades with me, all I can do is click the ok check. I cannot drop anything into my side. If I start a trade, I can only drop one item in there.

It's rare that I do all that much trading, so it's not what I'd call a big deal. Plus, we're dealing with WODians here, and if I can't trust them to live up to the terms of a simple trade, then I have more serious problems than my trading gump.

;)

I never have any problems using the 400c client. Plus I like that I can use Razor with it.
