*The almost but not quite Illustrious Covenant Atei*

Ki'Anna Stydoran (Master Bard) and I (Master Wizard, almost Illustrious, really!) headed to the Shabooli encampment to collect Shabooli Archer heads for an AG quest I had. Once inside we cleared the area fairly easily and I collected 4 of the 9 required heads. I was just about to comment to her that we may have to wait for more of their clan to arrive when they suddgenly sprung from hiding (respawned) and all of the durn blue-skinned heathans attacked her! It wasn't long before she was dead and they came after me. (I was doing my best to attack them and heal her. Really.)

I bolted out the entrance to meditate and get some "help" (summoned earth ele and water ele) when Ki'Anna spoke to me from the grave. Help was on the way! Soon, I saw a shimmering blue gate appear on the horizon and several heroes stepped forth, preparing to do battle in Ki'Anna's fallen name. These included Bronwyn, Ciara and Kello (I know there were others but I didn't get all the names--sorry!) The stalwart group made short work of the thieving Shabooli horde, and Ki'Anna soon had her all gear returned. (I helped a little. Really.)

Once we returned to the Adventurer's Guild with all 9 of my needed heads, we decided that the Shabooli would be taken off our list of places to frequent. They are masters at hiding and bringing in reinforcements at a moment's notice, and I guess we lack the patience for their ilk. Or we just didn't like the way they respawned all around us in an instant and killed her. Or that the loot wasn't exactly "plentiful." Or that their assassins are tough and their witch doctors are downright mean. One of those reasons will suffice. Really.

With many thanks to our Rescuers, I bid you all a beautiful and relaxing Sunday afternoon. Really.

Very true, though I have only been seriously playing for about 8 days since my vacation, I have died
( yes i'm counting)12 times- every time, it's literally impossible for me to repond to all of the offers for help when I go down. I just want to thank all of those unamed heroes who's help I very much appreciated. Long may we all live, and when we don't may a res come to us expediently.

Yes Trakas, it can be difficult to respond to everyone. I've had a .reply typed out and just before I hit Enter another msg comes in and the original recipient never gets it. :) Not exactly annoying but frustrating!

Considering the circumstances everyone understands if you dont msg them.
When I msg someone that has passed and I dont get a reply, I check the .online feature to see if the dead mark is removed by the name. That lets me know they have help.

I agree Bron.
I have on occasions offered assistance and not got a reply and thought that they think I suck .. hehe .. joking

....that they either too busy / have help already coming / got themselves sorted / AND think I suck
