Last night my evil brother started to go to the bank in Jhelom. When he popped up on the main island he noticed a large number of Ettins and Ogres standing around arguing.

"Yeah, when that pansy evil wannabe shows up we grind his bones to make our bread!" one Ogre declared in a muddled voice.

"No, we sautee his bones first" said one head of an Ettin.

"Sautee, oooh, high falutin' aren't you?" his other head replied.

"You just shut up or I'll poke you in the eye." the first head snarled.

Then they all turned all looked at my evil brother. He couldn't cast Plague yet and didn't have any buffs on. His rapier of power was nicely poisoned but by the time it had its effect he'd probably be ground or sauteed. He elected to flee to the house shouting for me.

I went out, checked out the lovely swarms of arguing giant humanoids and msg'd Sachiko to inform her of the occurence. I know they were just ogres and ettins but it was quite enjoyable to make heaping piles of monster bodies. I'd have as many as eight or so surrounding me at a time and I'd have to admonish them not to shove, their turn would come soon.

Thanks to the seer who thoughtfully provided the enjoyable spawn.

Today, as I was doing Tmaps I exited the gate I had made to the three lobed peninsula north of Yew. I found two ogre lords, ettins and other undesirables and so I galloped off to build a quick campfire and buff up. When I returned, they were all gone, except one confused ettin but in their place I found a group of determined "red" treasure hunters. There were scouts, marksmen, plain ole treasure hunters, mages, adepts and sorceresses. This was just a frazzled map too!

It took quite awhile and I nearly died a few times but I did manage to defeat them all and dig up my two chests.

Word of warning. Be careful out there digging up treasure chests, there might be defenders!
