Beehives

Ok to harvest honey and wax from beehives, what skills and or objects are needed? I've been harvesting from a hive for about 10 minutes now and nothing is happening. No bees, no wax, no honey. Nada.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the skill is lumberjacking, though not getting any bees with no lore is a bit puzzling.

That might be it... I have 0 lumberjacking.
However the manual doesn't say anything at all about LJ, just lore. I'll buy 60 LJ and try again I suppose.
