Warcraft III

Postby Seon MacRae on Wed Jun 11, 2003 1:22 pm

Does anyone here play Warcraft III much? I'm about to buy it (finally), and would like to find someone from this shard to play online with from time to time. Some of the players on Battle.net scare me.

I tend to be too methodical and laid-back about building a base. By the time I have a nice solid base built up, I'm surrounded by some 13-year-old who I have no chance against.

Besides Diablo II, which I no longer play, that's been my sole experience on Battle.net.

If you would like seon, I can introduce you to some good friends of mine. We have been together on bnet since the original Diablo came out. They have since moved on to Warcraft 3. I still keep in contact with them all, but we don't play together much now, since I really don't like warcraft. Msg me on icq if you are interested.

the 14-year-old who beats me most often is my cousin. I introduce him to computer gaming, and he has the nerve to go and get better at it than me.

punk kid :)

(he plays on this shard when he's over at my house, so hopefully he visits this site as well :D )

When I get cable internet back at my place, I'll drop in on you guys and play a game or two of WC3, if you like.

I could even cameo as Marius and play as the Undead team!

I have warcraft 3 which I no longer play cause of WOD!! and my computer is garbage so for some reason warcraft3 doesnt work but the game is not about base building its about the fighting so rushes happen alot. You cant really swarm a base cause of the low unit count (I guess so you cant overwhelm someone and units are alot stronger in war3 then in other game like it) Its got a good story but you need to have played the other warcrafts to really understand it. Other than that its a game worth buying, it could be one of those classics that everyone loves.
